Concord Festival of Authors

The 16th annual Concord Festival of Authors will open on Wednesday, October 15th, and run through Sunday, November 2nd. The festival will feature over 40 participating authors with programs nearly every day or evening. We’re pleased to announce that Roy Blount Jr. will give this year’s opening night/keynote address. The popular humorist and regular panelist on NPR’s “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me” will talk about his new book Alphabet Juice, a celebration of words, their roots and their meanings. Other authors include Jennifer Haigh, Julia Glass, and Andre Dubus III.
